Norway and Denmark.  Two different countries and wild untamed countryside await you on this amazing Viking adventure.

Rural landscapes in Denmark, contrasted by plunging, deep sided fjords, majestic peaks, stunning scenery and coastal splendour in Norway. From the mild southern fjords to the wild coastal and northern areas we have planned this tour to include some of the best of Norway’s scenery. It is a true riding feast.

The tour takes you from Harwich to the Hook of Holland (ask about departures from Hull and Newcastle) and then an overnight stay near Hamburg in Germany.  Then it's on to your destination in Denmark, and a  ride to the northern tip of the country for an overnight stay. The next day there’s a ferry crossing to Norway and a ride through the lovely Setesdal Valley. This is an area of great natural beauty and our resort is popular with skiers during the winter months.

Northwards then for a stop in the Voss area before continuing to Geiranger (see main photo) for a three night stay. This is one of the most stunning destinations in Norway and really is the highlight of your tour. It’s all you expect Norway to be! A deep plunging fjord with an amazing mountain backdrop. Our partner hotel has lovely fjord view rooms (supplement applies - worth the money). Don’t miss the superb Atlantic Coast Highway (see photo)

Take a fjord cruise, head out to Alesund on the coast or more importantly for any motorcyclist, follow the twists and turns of the resurfaced and majestic Trollstigen Canyon Road – eleven hairpin bends carved out of a steep mountainside. Make sure you park your bike at the top and then troll along the walkway to a magnificent viewpoint over a cascading waterfall.

It’s then time to start our journey southwards as we make our way to one of Norway's top ski resorts, Geilo. You will stay in a superb hotel in a stunning rural setting before travelling back to Denmark.  You overnight stay in the north of Denmark is followed by a return to the Hamburg area again before taking the ferry home from the Hook of Holland.
