Austria's diverse and scenic landscapes seem almost purpose designed for motorcyclists, so let us whet your appetite for the most varied, different and diversified Austrian regions and everything that has to be experienced and admired while passing through them.

The tour starts from Dover (other connections can be arranged) and after crossing into Germany and a night at our first FOUR STAR hotel get ready to gaze up at the mouth-watering mountains of the Alps. Once in Austria we roll on down in between the Tyrolean Alps and arrive at the FOUR STAR hotel where we’ll base ourselves for 3 nights. We unwrap the undiscovered treasures of Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland, all in the space of a carefully planned tour that takes in every conceivable type of road framed by world class views.

Riding your motorcycle through the bends and turns of an Alpine Pass on a sunny day is so much fun it’s almost obscene! This triple-whammy star of a tour takes in a winning combination of breathtaking alpine passes and mountain roads across three countries, but only after we’ve whipped through France and Germany first.

Onwards to our next base for another three night stay near Zell am See, one of Austria's most scenic lake and mountain resorts. Beautifully located, our FOUR STAR hotel is only a short motorbike ride from Salzburg, a medieval fortress city that has retained an impressive grandeur over the centuries. If all of that isn't enough then enjoy a motorcycle ride out to Hitler's Nest in nearby Berchtesgaden! Or maybe if mountain passes are your thing then a day spent on the Grossglockner Pass may well prove to be the highlight of your tour. 

 Join us on the ride-outs to the many steep and scenic passes in the area. Our top three are:

*Stelvio - You can’t get much higher than the Stelvio pass, towering at 2760 m, that’s 9053 feet to you and me!

*Timmeljoch - Still a good 2509 m (8229 feet), and the views are just jaw dropping.

*Grossglockner - 48 km (29 miles) of pure and absolute riding bliss, this road at 2504 m (8215 feet) was made for riding.

It’s your holiday, so if you wish you can just chill out and take in some of the more leisurely diversions this region has to offer. Innsbruck, with its shops and tourist attractions, or a relaxing day enjoying the facilities of the hotel.

There are two overnight stops on the way home, and just to keep things interesting we will also be taking in the majestic B500 on the way to our last hotel stop.  So, if you enjoy riding your motorcycle on fantastic roads with sublime scenery, then this tour is right up you Strasse.
